LARRY MILLER
Larry grew up in northeast Tennessee where he attended East Tennessee State University. He joined the Army in 1966, attended Infantry Officer's Candidate School, was commissioned in 1967 and stationed at Fort Gordon. Larry served as Executive Officer of the 140th Military Police company and as Company Commander of Company G, 5th Student Battalion, Signal Training Brigade while at Fort Gordon. In 1970 he joined the Reserves and served for an additional 6 years. He and his wife chose Augusta as their home. Several professions were pursued until he found the one he truly enjoyed when he became a Realtor in 1979. He opened Larry Miller Realty in 1985 and became affiliated with CENTURY 21 in 1986. Giving back and supporting the community is something Larry believes very strongly in. He has worked hard to accomplish this by serving on boards of civic, service and professional organizations. Larry's most gratifying pursuit has been the opportunity to open the 'First Ever' real estate company on a military installation. In 1998 CENTURY 21 Larry Miller Realty, Inc. was awarded a contract to assist military families with their PCS moves. In exchange for the office on post, CENTURY 21 Larry Miller Realty, Inc. gives the installation's Morale, Welfare and Recreation fund (IMWRF) 32% of commissions generated from the on-post location. As of December 31, 2005, CENTURY 21 Larry Miller Realty, Inc. has given over $450,000 to Fort Gordon IMWRF to support the military and their families.
